Earth Day 2024
Join us for Don’t Mess with the Don’s Earth Day 2024 Clean-Up & Stewardship!
On April 21 2024, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, Don’t Mess with the Don and our partners will be hosting our annual Earth Day celebration!
Taking place in two locations this is one of our biggest events of the year with past Earth Day events removing nearly 50,000 pounds of trash! Bring a water bottle, gloves, and sturdy shoes, we will provide all other necessary equipment.
Location 1: The clean up will be held at ET Seton Park. Meet us at the south parking lot, access via the park entrance at 73 Thorncliffe Park Drive.
Location 2: Stewardship will be in Sun Valley. Meet us at the DMWTD Container Hub, 11 Redway Road, Loblaws parking lot.
Free parking is available at both sites (more details below)
09:45 - Registration Opens
10am - 12pm - Clean up and stewardship activities
12pm - 1pm - Drinks, snacks, and a prize draw. Plus an opportunity to speak with local environmental groups (ET Seton Park only)

Parking: There is free parking on site at both locations.
Transit: The nearest transit routes to ET Seton Park are the 25A, 25B, 81, 88, 88A, & 100A busses
The nearest transit routes to the Container Hub are the 56A, 81, 88A, 100A
Bikes: The nearest bicycle parking to ET Seton Park is outside the public library at 48 Thorncliffe Park Drive or in the park at Seton Park Picnic Circle both approximately 10 - 15 minutes walk from the meeting point.
There is no bicycle parking at the Container Hub however we will be able to secure a few within one of our containers.
Washrooms: The nearest bicycle parking to ET Seton Park is outside the public library at 48 Thorncliffe Park Drive or the ET Seton Park Washrooms both approximately 10 - 15 minutes walk from the meeting point.
The nearest washrooms to Sun Valley are in the Loblaws at 11 Redway Rd, this is approximately two minutes from the Container Hub and 10 minutes from the stewardship site.
