Come join DMWTD for a day of Mountain Biking on the trails, Kayaking/Paddle Boarding or Canoeing at the beach or in the ravines for Stewardship
If you are a group that serves youth, DMWTD can support you with an awesome free outing with all equipment provided
Day Programs run 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday from July 1st to August 31st. Space is limited. Mountain Biking and Paddling Days are limited to 25 youth plus instructors. Stewardship can accommodate larger groups up to 30 youth plus instructors
Kayaking, Paddle Boarding and Canoeing
A full day of fun trying out all our water based gear. We have 25 kayaks, 19 paddle boards and 12 canoes and two floating islands to try out. We are right on the beach at Cherry Beach. PFDs, paddles, dry bags are all provided and we can even do a yummy BBQ. Ages 10 +. This day can also include awesome beach games.
Mountain Biking
A day of mountain biking fun on the single track trails in the Don Valley. We have great mountain bikes, helmets, water bottles and all the gear for an amazing day of riding. This program operates out of our location at the back of the Science Centre in E. T. Seton Park. This program is approximately 5 hours and for youth ages 11+.
Stewardship
Join DMWTD stewards and staff for a day of learning about biodiversity and ecosystems in the Don Valley. Youth will get a chance to explore, remove invasive species and plant native plants to restore meadows and ravines. This program is approximately 4 hours in length and for youth 8+. The location is Our Container Hub at the Loblaws Trailhead at 11 Redway Rd.
